Our team

Malcolm and Lorraine purchased RFF 13 years ago from Lorraine's parents' neighbour who had decided to retire. They had never run a business before so it was a huge learning curve. With many ups and downs over the years, they have worked hard to establish a reputable company. Customer service is first, second and last and has seen the company grow from Malcolm & Lorraine running the business from the bedroom in the family home and 1 offsider helping Malcolm on the truck, to now having a staff of 9 plus themselves and leasing a warehouse to take their customers storage, along with the items they collect for their charities. The business continues to grow, but both Malcolm and Lorraine do not want it to grow so much that they loose the personal touch that they feel is important and so apparently, do their customers.

They look forward to hearing from you one day and hopefully helping you move into your new home.

Office Staff

• Heather - accounts payable and receivable (don't mess with her!!), HR and loyal office assistant, who has been with RFF for 5 years, starting when the company was run from the office in a small bedroom at the back of the house and Lorraine and Heather watched Dr Phil (can you believe it !?) in their lunch break!!! Now that has really changed. Heather is married with 2 adorable little girls.

• Marcella - With the company for over 12 months, married with 2 children, Jake and Samantha. Was formally a fitness instructor and would give our guys a run for their money in the fitness stakes - not that they would admit to that! Has a wonderful phone manner and you will love speaking to her when you ring for information on our services.

• Trish - new to our company but a great asset and comes from a small business background. Talk about the neatest writer we have ever had in this office (sorry Heather and Marcella). Trish has 3 grown sons and a daughter-in-law (who she actually really likes!!) and is doing extra study at the moment. Trish will be who you speak to on the phone if Marcella is busy.

Removal Team

Our big burley(well not quiet) but gentle removal team:

• Paul J - offsider and warehouse manager. Is a qualified butcher by trade and the one with the cheeky smile. We are glad he has chosen to be a removalist instead of a butcher and came to us 2 years ago.

• Brad - offsider and carpenter extraordinaire. Looks great with a good hair cut (does that sound like a Mother talking?), loves bike riding but tends to have the odd spill.

• Paul D - offsider and probably the fittest on the team, doing runs for his special charity Cantoo. Also beat the boss at golf on the 2nd day they played together - not a wonderful strategy Paul !!!

• Robbie - Pauls little brother and the baby of the team, looks cute but looks can be deceiving!!

• Jeff - Driver and an ex-butcher - what can I say, I am sure butchers are given flirting lessons when they train but they also have excellent customer service skills which Jeff has in abundance.

• Chris - the newest addition to our team and came to us courtesy of a letter I wrote to Ray Hadley on 2GB looking for a driver who actually wanted to work and Chris is that man. Chris was a panel beater and spray painter so this is a real change for him. He is married with 2 little boys.
